Use of UX Recorder

UX Recorder, Inc. (“UX Recorder,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides software that helps website owners, product teams, designers, and businesses understand how users interact with digital interfaces. The platform may include session recordings, click tracking, scroll tracking, form interaction analysis, usability insights, error detection, and related analytics.

By using uxrecorder.com or the UX Recorder platform, you agree to use the service only for lawful business, design, analytics, and user experience optimization purposes. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to use the service on behalf of yourself or the company you represent.

You are responsible for how UX Recorder is installed and used on your website, app, or digital product. This includes providing required privacy notices, obtaining consent where required, configuring masking settings, and ensuring that your use complies with applicable privacy, data protection, and consumer protection laws.

You may not use UX Recorder to collect passwords, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, financial account details, children’s data, or other sensitive personal information. You may not use the service for unlawful surveillance, harassment, discrimination, security violations, reverse engineering, malware distribution, unauthorized resale, or to build a competing product.

You retain ownership of the data, recordings, analytics, and content collected through your account. By using the service, you give UX Recorder permission to host, process, store, analyze, and display that data as needed to provide and improve the platform. UX Recorder does not sell customer data.

Paid features may require a subscription. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable, subscriptions renew automatically, and you are responsible for applicable taxes. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

UX Recorder, including its software, design, branding, technology, documentation, and related materials, is owned by UX Recorder, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the platform without written permission.

Legal Terms

UX Recorder is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or able to identify every usability issue, defect, error, or optimization opportunity. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

We may suspend or terminate your access to UX Recorder if you violate these Terms, fail to pay required fees, create legal or security risk, misuse the platform, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using UX Recorder at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UX Recorder, Inc. and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to UX Recorder in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have not paid us.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UX Recorder, Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your customer data, your website or application, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your failure to provide required notices or obtain required consents.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute related to these Terms or UX Recorder will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, unless otherwise required by law.

 

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, through the platform, or by posting an updated version on uxrecorder.com. Your continued use of UX Recorder after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
